Table problems

Hi all,

I have a collection called "intuneapps" that has a column called "Category" which has a table in each row called "displayName".

I've created a collection named "cats" of all the distinct displayNames using ForAll(intuneapps,Collect(cats,Distinct(Category,displayName).Result))

So "cats" is a collection with a single column "Result" with each unique displayName.

Now, I want my combobox showing the distinct displayNames to filter my gallery showing "intuneapps" based on the apps that have the selected displayName in their "Category" column's "displayName" table.

Something like "Filter(intuneapps,Category.displayName in ComboBox5.SelectedItems.Result).displayName" but that doesn't work because Category.displayName is a table.  So I think I need a many to many comparison of some sort but struggling to figure it out.

    @russrimm1 Hey. I guess the table "displayName" always has only one row, right?

    I haven't tried it myself, but you could try something like this

    "Filter(intuneapps,First(Category.displayName).displayName in ComboBox5.SelectedItems.Result).displayName"

    If this is not what you are looking for please show me an example of your collection.

    Hi @russrimm1 ,

    Your problem is that you have a many-to-many relationship there and need another collection

    ForAll(
     ComboBox5.SelectedItems,
     Collect(
     colNames,
     Filter(
     intuneapps,
     Result in Category.displayName
     ).displayname
     )
    )
