A single user is unable to see a gallary

Hello all,

I have created a simple power app for my team that pulls a list of terms and deffenitions related to the role and team. (Essentially, a glossary app)

The issue: I have a user who is completely unable to see the gallery. They are able to see everything else but the gallery (the important part of the app).

Additional context:

  • 7 other users have access and can see the gallery. Overall, the app works fine for them.
  • All users were given access to the app and the data source (including the user with the problem)
  • We have tried clearing cache, clearing cookies, using an incognito mode browser, and a completely different account. All with the same results
  • I have updated and published the app to ensure they are on the current version. I even duplicated the source file.
  • The user was initially co-owner than removed and re added as user
  • The user is the one updating and editing the data source with information.
  • This has been tried and tested across 4 weeks so likely not waiting for permissions to update
  • There is no user specific content, so all users should always see the same stuff in the app
  • I even shared a different app with the same issue.

I think it's user side at this point but can't confirm. I was hoping others here can assist in determining what's causing the issue.

    Hello,

When you say they cannot see it, can they not see it there are usually 2 reasons

    1. Its their cache

-Please make them Close all Browsers

    -Clear their cache

-log in Private or Inognito mode

    2. The gallery has no Borders, and no controls that have Borders, and there are NO items for that user to see (based on the Items / Data Source), which maybe they dont have access too, or a filter is going it

If you have a Gallery like this, it might LOOK like they cannot see it, versus the fact that its just has no data and a very "possible" UI configuration of controls.

    Cheers
