FetchXML - Insert Results on the DOM

I have the fetchXML returning the results I need in an HTML table using Liquid.  But now I need to take that HTML table and place it in a particular spot within the DOM.  When I tried the following in JQuery:

The HTML/browser renders it as:  [Annotation 2020-03-19 195718.png]
 
 

I have to place this table in the middle of an already rendered Entity Form (hence the DOM manipulation).  I can't place the table as a subgrid on the Entity Form since the data results cannot be achieved within a simple View query.

 

Any thoughts?

    Hi @mcutchins ,

     

    This doesn't work as your table rendered in multiple line and you are using quotes (") which allow only for single line text(see Line break issue attachment). To solve this you would need to use string literals instead (using backtick symbol ( ` ) instead of quotes symbol) as string literals support multi-line text (see String Literal png attached). To find out more about string literal and how you can use them check this MDN page.
