Want to clear to confusion, is it necessary to use SELECT and then GetItems from it, as my job is been getting done by GetItems.
What is basic difference between SELECT and GetItems
Please guide or a tutorial link to understand
Get items actions actually retrieve data. Select only helps you select and/or modify that data when it is in the flow.
you mean if my data requirement is solved by GetItems - then no need calling SELECT as additional work out.
Or both combination is required.
Your more advise with example will guide to me to understand better so that i can make my flow accordingly.

For most basic use-cases Get items alone is fine.
The most common related issue I see is people using Excel List rows actions who need more than the 1 filter condition allowed. And even then, that usually requires a Filter array, not a Select.
But maybe you have a use-case where you only want to Select specific columns for something? In most cases adding a Select doesn’t help if you could just select those column’s dynamic content from Get items instead.
