Import a solution multiple times into the same environment?

Hi,

I've built a solution (based on Power Apps, Power Automation and some Sharepoint lists) and I'd like to make this solution available to other departments in my org. The problem is, they all share the same environment. I now have the sinking feeling, that it's not possible to deploy the solution multiple times in the same environment. Because after the first import, the Power App and the flow already exist and will not be overwritten. Any ideas to work around this?

I have same issue!
When I import a solution, Unfortunately every variable and connection reference is available in the Power Automate environment and every user can see them in default solutions.Everything is going globally and it is bad. There is no scope for solutions.In Import time, we need a parameter to restrict the scope of solution.

You can share workflow with others(executer or owner). But when every user wants to customize it, in practice it is not possible because they affect each other.

Hi is there a backlog item to address this issue? And if so what is the status of implementation?

I think this is in fact by design and I kind of see why they decided it like this. The solution is obvious. You need a separate environment for every imported instance of the solution. Power governance best practices state that the default environment should NOT be used for productive flows, but merely for experimenting and for personal/temporary tasks. If you're dealing with solutions, you are already (probably) beyond experimenting and try to implement flows that work on a larger scale and could benefit multiple departments. In that case, some sort of power platform governance is necessary anyway.

Perhaps I am missing something? In my production environment, I want to use the same PA Solution across multiple SharePoint sites. Since the Solution Environment variables are the same, what do I need to do to allow me to initialize/ import the same PA Solution multiple times?

Like I said, you can't. Not unless you have different environments for each SP site. I didn't know it's a limitation either - hence my initial question.

What I did,
1. I moved EV to inside the workflow.
2. Import workflow to target environment.
3. Than I used "Send Copy" to send workflow to other users that wants to customize it either I shared it as runner with others..
