Populate a Dropdown Based on the Value of Another Dropdown in PowerApps

I have a customized form that I am using to gather info from users then goes in a collection and then patches to a Sharepoint List. I am wanting to auto populate a drop down based on what the user chooses on the previous drop down. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thank you!

    Hi @Tbruns ,

    This below video will explain how to implement cascading dropdown (chnaging/populating dropdown with the previous dropddown selection).

    I am very new to all this. Can you explain a little more about this please?

    By id I just mean the unique value you want to filter the second drop down on.  If you post screen shots of what you're working with I can try to tell you exactly what you need to do.

    Thank you!

    So when they choose the "SOW" dropdown, say ABC, then I want the cost center to populate with 123, EmployeeDeptCode with 456 and Location as USA.

    If they choose the "SOW" dropdown, say DEF, then Cost center will be 789, EmployeeDeptCode 012 and Location as Brazil.

    Hi @Tbruns,

    Do the below approach:

    on default property of the cost center dropdown:

    Lookup(splist,SOWcolumn = sowdropdown.selected.value,costcenter)

     implement the same for the other 2 dropdowns.

    I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help let me know I am always happy to help.

    @KrishnaV

    Where do I put the value that I want to show in the Cost Center field?

    I tried typing in Lookup('Onboard Test List',SOWcolumn = sowdropdown.selected.value,costcenter)

    but "SOWcolumn" and "sowdropdown" are giving me errors.

    Hi @Tbruns,

    what is the datatype of the SOWcolumn in SharePoint list if it is choice use as below:

    Lookup('Onboard Test List',SOWcolumn.Value = sowdropdown.selected.value,costcenter)

    if it is a single line of text

    Lookup('Onboard Test List',SOWcolumn = sowdropdown.selected.value,costcenter)

    I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help let me know I am always happy to help.

    Are the values you want to show stored somewhere?  If not, you will have to add them manually in the Items Property of the drop down.

    @Anonymous

    Yes they are choice columns in my Sharepoint List.

    I am not understanding where I tell it "if SOW=123 then Cost Center should = ABC"
