If this function works well in the app, I would suggest you try below things:
1. Re-publishing your app and then check if issue remains.
2. Clean your browser's cache or use an incognito/inprivate browser.
Another reason could be that the varStartseite variable is not initialized properly or has a wrong value. You can check the value of the variable by using a label or a Notify function. You can also try to use a screen name instead of a variable to see if it works.
