126I am having trouble getting this liquid to work inside the Home/Authenticated snippet.
I create a variable in the Home/Authenticated snippet like this:
{{ assign myVariable = false }}
Then I immediately include a snippet:
{% include 'snippet' snippet_name:'mySnippet' %}
This snippet does some logic that changes the value of myVariable:
<Inside mySnippet>
{{ assign myVariable = true }}
<End of Inside mySnippet>
Immediately after I include my snippet, I check if the snippet properly changed the value of myVariable:
{% if myVariable %}IS TRUE{% else %}NOT TRUE{% endif %}
The output of this liquid code is...
NOT TRUE
Is passing variables out of snippets allowed? How does the scope work here?
