Extract Data does not work with sidepanel frame

I have been having trouble extracting data from web page with a sidepanel frame but If i specify specific Element, I am able to extract 5 of the things one by one. Instead of 5 seperate "get details of element on web page" and posting it to 5 different variables each time, then writing to excel 5 seperate times, Is there an easier way to get the details to post to excel?

If the 5 items are in a table or a list, it may be possible. Take a look at action Browser automation / Web data extraction / Extract data from web page.

So this is a bit weird, When using the "extract data from web page" functionality, it did not work when selecting the elements. I used the UI element to find the path and pushed that path into the CSS selector path and it worked everytime. It looked like the path selected between the two were different.

Fortunately, you can edit the UI element. Once you capture it, click on it, then click on the element tag (maybe double-click if single does nothing?). Eventually you get to a cascading UI element list. At that point, it's helpful to press F12 in your browser, and you can tell it to identify a web page element. This will show you if you're looking at one element or a table. Similarly, when capturing the element in PAD, you may see a small red box over the element, but depending on where you put the mouse, you might also see a red box over the entire table. That's the one you want. Also, I've noticed (at least in our app) that the IDs change, so most UI Elements that rely on the ID tag will fail. Workaround in that case was to use the class tag.
