show place holder image in gallery if blank

Hello:

I have a gallery which contains thumbnails, in the Image i have this formula - ThisItem.'Photo of Bin'.Small. If the The sharepoint list item is a Image column. I would like to show a default image or placeholder if it does not contain an image.

I have tried this formula

If(IsBlank(ThisItem. 'Photo of Bin'.Small), Placeholder, ThisItem.'Photo of Bin'.Small)

in the Image data field, but I receive this error: The function 'If' has some invalid arguments.

How can I show the image placeholder if the SPL image colun is blank?

Please consider changing your Formula to the following:

Coalesce(ThisItem. 'Photo of Bin'.Small, Placeholder)

Is Placeholder an actual image you have brought into your app?

If not, then change to:

Coalesce(ThisItem. 'Photo of Bin'.Small, SampleImage)
