    Hi @Anonymous

    This is because there is always first item selected in dropdown. If you want to remove selection, try replacing the dropdown control with a combobox control and this will resolve your issue.

    Hope this Helps!

    @Anonymous

    You can still maintain the Dropdown by setting the AllowEmptySelection property to true.

    To make it work, you have to reset the control once and it will automatically set afterwards, click on the selected option again and it will clear the value. If you will play the app, by default the value will be blank.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    If you are dealing with a drop-down here (not a combo box), I have found it will always default to the first item in the list. Do a Collection

    ClearCollect(
     colDD,
     {Result: ""},
     Distinct(
     '[dbo].[Entity_Base_Information]',
     QB_NAME
     )
    )

    then the Items of the drop-down would be colDD.

    Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
