Hi everyone,

I have problem with my type column, I have sharepoint and excel that has 'Date' column.

This is column format in my sharepoint:

This is format column in my excel:

firda59_1-1689644952980.png

I have flow like this:

firda59_2-1689644997595.png

from that flow I want to update data in sharepoint just like in excel based on its number ID Product.

But, when I run the flow, I got this message:
The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Update_item' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: Input parameter 'item/ReceivedDate' is required to be of type 'String/date'. The runtime value '"44712"' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'String/date'.

I dont understand, I set the column both in sharepoint and excel as a date type. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

In the List Rows Present in a Table action, click on Show Advanced Options.

Select ISO 8601 as the DateTime Format.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @creativeopinion

It can work for Received Date, but it cant work for Release Date. I got this:
The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Update_item' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: Input parameter 'item/ReleaseDate' is required to be of type 'String/date'. The runtime value '"44714"' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'String/date'.

I set ReceivedDate and ReleaseDate in the same format. Do you know why it happen? Thank you

    Use this expression:

    addDays('1899-12-30', int([excel date here])),'yyyy-MM-dd')

I posted a tutorial on this a few months ago: https://www.tiktok.com/@acreativeopinion/video/7223762717763489029
