Hello all,

I'm slightly confused and wondering if someone can help.

I have a form in power apps and if I create a new submission it creates it in my sharepoint list with content type "Folder"

However if I create a new record manually in my sharepoint list it creates content type "item"

How can I get my powerapps to submit content type as "item"?

Thanks for your reply.

I did look at that thread before posting, however I'm not looking to create multiple content types.

When I create a new record in powerapps I want it to use "Item" content type instead of created "Folder"

If I create a new record directly in my sharepoint list it will use "Item" but if I create it using powerapps it uses "Folder"

I think I over complicated my issue.

Basically is there a way I can default the content type to "Item" in powerapps with form submission?
