Hi everybody.

I'm trying to make an audit app, with a Y/N checklist with Observations if "NO", but I'm having some issues finding the way to store the answers. I planned having SharePoint as the database.

 

As the questions may vary often, how should I save the audits? I don't see viable one column per question as they change, and one item by answer may make the list so big that could be impossible to work with.

 

Any suggestions about how to save the checklist?

I've seen this: A PowerApps Audit Solution in 5 minutes - YouTube but there's no info about saving them.

    Your best approach to this is to have a list that contains the questions to ask, then a separate list that stores the answers made.  That second list would include an ID to the question and the user that responded (and of course, their responses.)

     

    You definitely don't want to have separate columns for each question as you will endlessly be changing the list as well as the app.  Having a row for each answer may seem large, but this is the normal and easiest way to work with it.

    Thanks a lot for the prompt response.

    Would you recommend separating the lists by Teams? I've made some math and at the end of the year I'll have over 200.000 records on the list, and, any idea of how to make use of/display the data in a more friendly user manner than a SP list?
