Solution Environment Variables in Power Automate Desktop

Hello,

is it possible to acess directly a environment variable in Power Automate Desktop flow if they are in the same Solution?

I only found the way to call the Power Automate Desktop flow over a cloud flow and acess the environment variable in the cloud flow.

Thank you very much for your help.

Greetings, Francesco

    @Anonymous

    Currently you can't access environment variables directly from a desktop flow so as you mentioned best way will be through a cloud flow

    If you are looking for machine related variables, not the power platform environment ones, you can use the "Get Windows environment variable" action

    Sharing this as I ended up in this post while searching for ways of getting access to the system's environment variables.

    Any idea when this will be implemented? This is very useful to share variable between Apps, Cloud en Desktop flow.

    Cheers,

    You can pass the environment variable to PAD using input variables. When you run your PAD flow from the cloud, just use the environment variable in the PAD action/input variable field.

    Another approach would be do create PA flow that triggers on API call and passes back the variable to PAD

    Yeah, cdta has a broad set of odbc, but that's the paid software, right?
