Delete all data in single column Dataverse

Hi everyone.

I am working on an asset management app where we will conduct audits quarterly.  One of the columns is "AuditConducted", and when the audit for that item occurs, than "Yes" is placed in that column for the item.  I need a way to delete all items in the column just prior to conducting the audit.  I have searched for help online but cannot find help for this.  Any help would be great, thank you!  I have about 25,000 rows in this table.

    Since it's 25,000 rows, I'm not sure if this works.

    By Code

    ForAll(
     [Name_of_Table],
     Patch(
     AuditConducted: No
     )
    )

    Another solution via is via Excel Online:

    And lastly via PowerAutomate.

    You can loop an Automate to update each row to false.

    Hey @ckserra33

    A really good and easy method by @cha_cha above. Try it once. As he said, the 25000 limit might be an issue.

    If you have a power automate license as well, you can create a button in Power Apps, that will trigger a power automate flow, and update all the records with a null value in that column.

    But you will definitely require a power automate license for that. As only 5000 items can be done in one call.

    Or you can do some workarounds by using a do until loop till all the records are not updated.

    Giving you a link to by pass the 5000 limit:

    @cha_cha

    Nice method man, I will use it for my future cases. 🙂

    @ckserra33

    I hope one of our methods work for you. 🙂

    Hi @ckserra33

    What about the console application? Create advanced find query or Fetch XML using Fetch XML Builder in XRM Tool Box and Delete all records using response. Delete.

    If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.

    Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

    Thanks

    This is the better solution. XRM Toolbox is very useful for things like this.
