Hi @StalinPonnusamy,
Thank you for looking into my post and referencing the MS article.
We have had actually followed that article guidelines (before my post on this platform) and shared the app with external user. The actual sharing process was not an issue. The guest user was able to see the app and use it, but not the way as we expected.
The problem we have seems to be within the "Book a room template".
Let me explain the scenario.
My organization A wanted to allow specific users from organization B to be able to book rooms located at organization A.
To achieve that, we have used the "Book a room" canvas app template, added external user from org. B as a guest in Azure AD of org. A, assigned power apps license to the guest user and shared the "Book a room app".
However, when guest user (from organization B) tried to use the shared app, he could not see any rooms from organization A, he could only see rooms from his own organization B.
Is there a way to alter the "book a room" app, or do anything else to allow guest user from org. B to book rooms (resources) located at the org. A (A is the organization sharing the app)?
Ps. The "book a room" app has two connectors:
- Office 365 Outlook
- Office 365 Users
According to Which connectors support guest access?
Office 365 Outlook connector does not support guest access. It seems to be the root cause of why user cannot see, neither book resources within my organization. Am I correct? Is there a way around it?
Thank you,
Barb
