Issue with formatdatetime function

Hi all, either I'm doing something wrong or there's an issue with the formatdatetime function?

In the Compose, I'm having the Input:
formatDateTime(variables('exdate'),'dd/mm/yyyy').

What I wanted to do is to ensure that I have a 2 digit date in the format dd/mm/yyyy. But somehow, in the function, it has totally ignored the date and used 11 as dd and month is missing, giving 00.

Did I do something wrong?

You need to mention mm as MM in the expression

mm - This will take minutes of your time
MM - This will take the month

so your updated expression will be -  formatDateTime(variables('exdate'),'dd/MM/yyyy')
