Doubt with Gmail Connector

Hi there

I'm brand new with Power Automate. I have created this basic flow (my first one) to test the Gmail Connector (I'm the sender and the receiver):

However, the Send Email(V2) action is taking the Subject of the reply mail and sends another message. In this case up to 2 additional messages. It seems like the condition for the subject is "Contain" instead of a "Equal".

Is it possible to control this behaviour? So far I have not seen the option.

Hi @DB2907,

It is by design. Please check the matching criteria of incoming Gmail message:

The subject criteria is checks if the subject contains a specified string, for example:

Filter: criteria.subject='[People with Pets]'

Matches: All emails with the string [People with Pets] in the subject
