Error when moving file to a specific folder based on the starting alphabet of file name.

Hi,

I have established the flow as below to direct the file to a folder which having same starting naming.
For example: File name: DFA 12345, so I wan to move the file to a folder name DFA. But i am facing the error as per second attachment.

I notice the system has added in a number under "File to move" then this number will be added in to the end of current site url.

where you can see at "Body" of this photo. I suspect this new adding number which causing the error but I do not know how to solve this. Please help.

Hi @Jo9

Instead of using the "ID" field, could you use the "Path" field as the value of the File to Move property?

Hi @fchopo ,
i have changed the field. But end up this error occurred. Missing or mismatched field definition on the destination list for source field 'ApprovalStatus' type 'Text'. Source site template id 'TeamChannel', target site template id 'GroupWebTemplateID'. Total blocked root objects in this operation. please help.

Hi @Jo9

Power Automate is trying to move the file with all the metadata to another different libray, which may not contain this metadata columns (move file is replicating all the metadata).

In order to avoid this problem, try to use the "copy file" action , and if it's necessary, delete file from the source document library.
