Hi
I have huge problems today. None of my navigation is responding. My variables are not being set and I am unable to change these.
There are unfortunately some ongoing problems related to the latest release.

Reverting to an older version would mean the loss of a weeks work right? I mean can I tell Powerapps studio to use an older version of Powerapps Studio?

Changing the editor version through the Accounts menu would not cause any loss of work.
However, restoring a version through the versions menu would potentially cause weeks of lost work (depending on the version you restore).
