Good day,
I am new to Power Apps and will be using the platform to build a scheduler desktop app for my company.
At the moment I am experimenting in building a header component which contains different controls to serve later as means to filter information in a gallery and flow through the app (of course some or a lot of the controls will go and some will be kept).
The problem I am trying to resolve now is that it seems that my gallery doesn't detect the search box within the header component.
In the gallery I tried to set "Items" to the following function:
Search(Table1_7,searchTxtBx.Text,"User Name") // "searchTxtBx" is my search box in the header component
I also tried to look for the parent of "searchTxtBx" which in this case is the "schedulerHeader" component like this:
Search(Table1_7,schedulerHeader.searchTxtBx.Text,"User Name")
Both options don't work.
