ReportI was exploring how we can surface recommendations/notifications on a from in CRM, so that end users can be given hints at a record/field level to achieve their goal.
I created some custom controls using PCF, thought of sharing it here so that others can leverage it.
Recommendation Bubble
Recommendation is displayed in context of the field. Recommendation Icon (light bulb) next to the field notifies the end user that there is some recommendation available. Recommendation content will be displayed on click/mouse-hover of light bulb (office fabric) icon button. 'Apply' button click will populate the field in MSX with the recommended value.
Recommendation Section
Recommendation is displayed in context of CRM record. Positioned in Top right corner of form to gain user attention.All the recommendations for a particular will be displayed here.'Apply' button click will populate all the recommended fields in from with the recommended value.
Recommendation Modal
Recommendation is displayed in context of the field. Recommendation Icon (light bulb) next to the field notifies the end user that there is some recommendation available. Recommendation RI cards
Recommendation is displayed in context of CRM record. Positioned in Top right corner of form to gain user attention. It’s a RI card. All the recommendations for a particular CRM record will be displayed here. User specific recommendations can be displayed for a record as well. Flexibility to display Recommendations for a specific period, we can provide start and end date.
