Hi, looking to see if anyone else has experienced hiccups with the preview Link to Microsoft Fabric feature through Synapse to connect Dataverse tables to Fabric without using ETL operations?:
Despite my account being correctly licenced with a Power BI Premium trial subscription, I keep running into this error when I try to link a table:
It stops me there and I can go no further. Anyone else used this feature yet?

With some mucking around, I discovered the solution: I had to go to Fabric and click to accept the licence that was assigned to the account. Without it, the licence doesn't go "active".

Where is this setting on Fabric?

Hi, at the time (and it has changed significantly since Oct 2023), the preview functionality relied on the user going into Fabric and "accepting" the licence that was assigned to it before activating the connection. It appeared when trying to review the connections within Fabric.
That said, I abandoned trying the preview functionality since it was not working correctly with service principals at that time and I haven't gone back to see if MS has improved things.
SO it means you are faking.
