Hi everyone.

 

I am looking to create apps that contain personal data.

I have different sites that need write access to the data but I don't ever want them to be able to go to the source data in this case either a SharePoint list of excel within SharePoint. Can anyone point me in the direction to make write only possible and also not be able to access the info in SharePoint. Would like to treat the app as a form.

Eventually I will need to create apps that read as well but again don't want them to be able to navigate to the list or excel. Any thoughts?

Open to other ideas as well to data storage.

    Hello TimWatts - You can use PowerApps & PowerAutomate combination to submit/save data in SharePoint. From PowerApps trigger a flow and within the flow write your logic for saving to SharePoint. This way end user will have no access to underlying SP site & list and you will use the PowerAutomate connection identity to save data to list.

    Hi @TimWatts :

    I recommend that you create a Dataverse Table and adjust the user's permission level for this table to'User', so that users can only access the content created by themselves.
