Here is my scenario.
I would like to provision a workflow which a user can trigger manually which would send an approval step to a subject owner to approve or reject the the arching of documents. If approved the document would be moved to an archive library which has restricted access.
I have a custom content type and a site column called Document Subject which is a lookup column to another list called "Process and Subjects".
In the Process and Subject lists I have the following columns:
Subject Name - Used to list all subjects (Single line of text field)
Process Name - Used to list all processes which relate to the subject (Single line of text field)
Subject Owner Name - Used to specify a owner for each subject (Person field)
I understand that based on the Document Subject selected from the lookup I could query the list to also get the Subject Owner for that subject by using OData Query.
My plan then is to email an approver task for the subject owner to review and approve or reject the request.
Can someone give me an example of how I can get the OData Query working to bring back the subject Owner Name based on the Document Subject Entered?
