Barcode scanner not reseting after I manually enter something into it

Hello,

So I have a form that updates Sharepoint with different data. I have set up a barcode scanner for that and it works perfectly up to the point;

If a user writes a barcode manually into the barcode form (it is not a text box) and on the next try he uses the barcode scanner, the barcode is not shown on the form.

Can someone explain it to me how to reset the barcode datacard if the barcode is manually inputed into it?

Thanks!
M

    Hi @RBMN187 ,

    Make the Default of the Text Box

    YourBarcodeScannerName.Value

    then on the OnScan of the scanner

    Reset(YourTextBoxName)

    @RBMN187 ,

    I thought you mistyped - what exactly is a barcode form?

    Maybe I wrote it a bit hectic.

    So I need to reset the whole form or datacard inside of the form

    @RBMN187 ,

    Can you please share a screenshot of what you are talking about and also what exactly on it you need to reset.

    Hej Warren, thanks for your help.

    I figured it out.
    Putting ResetForm(FormName) at the OnSelect of my Submit Form button did the trick.
