Power Apps Edit Form w/SharePoint Integration - combo boxes and date pickers not saving

I have a custom edit form with SharePoint Integration. I have many "normal" SharePoint columns on the form, which are saving correctly. However, I have a custom card section where I have a bunch of combo boxes and date pickers tied to SharePoint text fields - and none of the information selected in any of those is saving when I SubmitForm.

I added all the cards for each of the SharePoint text fields (and hid them, since I have labels created for each in the custom card section). I replaced the text boxes with combo boxes and date pickers. Most of the combo boxes are for multi-select people pickers.

Combo boxes/multi select people pickers:

I changed the Update property on the combo box data cards to Concat(ComboBox2.SelectedItems, DisplayName , ";") - is this correct?

I left the Default property on the combo box data cards coded as ThisItem.'NameofSharePointColumn' - is this correct?

The combo boxes have Default and DefaultSelectedItems blank. Items is coded as

Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:ComboBox2.SearchText}).DisplayName - is this correct?

Date Pickers

The date picker card Default property is: ThisItem.'NameofSharePointColumn' - is this correct?

The date picker card Update property is: Text(DatePicker1_1.SelectedDate,"[$-en-US]mm/dd/yyyy") - is this correct?

The date picker card DisplayMode is Parent.DisplayMode - is this correct?

The date picker boxes have DefaultDate blank and DisplayMode blank - not sure if anything needs to be updated on the date picker boxes themselves?

-----------

I did not do any Patch coding - just left the normal SubmitForm in place.

I created test tickets and went in to edit them, but none of the information in this section of my edit form are saving (the section above this, with regular SharePoint columns, is saving just fine)... where have I gone wrong?
