We are working on a new SharePoint project, where the customer does not have any SharePoint licenses yet, and they want to use SharePoint On-Premises.
So I have the following questions, If can we use Power Apps and Power Automate inside SharePoint On-premises? If the answer is Yes, then what version of SharePoint On-premises we need to use?
Second question, If Power Apps is supported inside On-premises SharePoint, then can we use to build the following:-
Im currently using SharePoint server subscription edition.
Flow works but you cant trigger it on a specific item in a list, so you must use "Trigger on change of an item" or similar. This is all connected via a data gateway.
I know you can use the same data gateway for PowerApps to get data from SharePoint but it's most likely the same as Power Automate, a slightly slimmed down version where all the features aren't available.
@StretchFredrik thanks for the reply. but what you mean by :-
cant trigger it on a specific item in a list,
so i can not force a flow to run when an item get updated?
also concerning Power apps, are those features supported:-
You can run a flow based on "When an item is updated" but NOT "For a specific item" that you do by selecting a row in SharePoint and then starting the flow manually.
I have not done this for PowerApps since our customer doesn't want us to use that.
