I have a question about the HTMLtext control in powerapps. When I display the following html:
"Please answer the question 1+ 2=<input type='text' id='answer' name='answer'>" powerapps will show this as expected (see picture below)
I can even type the (correct) answer 🙂
What I would like to do is when the button is pressed, take the answer (or total HTML including the answer) and store it. Is this possible?

No, it is not possible to extract a value from an HTML text input you created. There is no property in the control that reads out the result since it was only designed to show text. You must use a Text input from PowerApps instead.
