Powerapps form auto generate field value

I am very new to power platform and I have started developing a powerapps form from a SharePoint list. The list contaims control creation request. We have a file named REQID which should be auto populated in increment based on the last id created in the SP list.

Example, the last record created in SharePoint list has the REQID 14 ,if I am creating a new request from powerapps form, the REQID field should be autopopulated with the number 15.

Kindly please help me with a solution idea.

In the Default property of the REQID card on your form, consider placing the following code:

First( SortByColumns(mySPList, REQID, SortOrder.Descending ) ).REQID + 1
