Hi,
It's sad when something so obvious simply doesn't work. You wonder how long the developer actually invested into doing this right.
I can use the instapaper trigger to set off a flow when a bookmark is added to the Home folder.
But when it is added to a sub-folder - forget it. I tried mulitple folders and I removed spaces and wierd characters from the folder names. I tried for days. The trigger takes the folder name as a parameter but it certainly does not poll it.
This added to my other unanswered problem of the description being blank when a bookmark is posted, make instapaper by flow totally useless.
Cheers
G.
I have discovered that the description is blank when I post using the bookmarklet.
It does not look blank. On the Instapaper website it looks complete. The description (summary) is there.
But when I consume it from Flow, the description is empty.
This happens when I add the link from FF or Chrome bookmarklet or extension.
If I add the bookmark using the "Add Link" form in Instapaper website, it works ok.
ok it is now fixed. Nothing changed on my side. Same Instapaper account, same flows. Good.
Now the next problem. The description field is always blank. Even if I use a Microsoft template.
....
Hi @v-zhos-msft sure I can post some screenshots. Not much to see unfortunately.
Here is my flow:
As you can see it has never run
And yet I have posted to the folder in instapaper.
Actually I did many tests with numerous folders and numerous flows. One test did work out of maybe 20 tests.
It worked only when I post to the Home folder.
Any help is appreciated
Best
George
Hi @geommm ,
Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?
I have made a test and don't have the issue that you mentioned.
