Hello,
I am try to configure the HelpDesk template to send an email from a HelpDesk Email. Currently when a user accesses the app they have to verify their connections to SharePoint, 365 Users, and Outlook. The problem is that some of my users don't yet have email accounts. I have setup a user (HelpDesk) with a O365 Email and would like to always send notification emails from that address to the Users of the app. The problem is that the users without emails can't access the app because they can't verify a connection, and the users with email have the notifications being sent from their Emails and not HelpDesk.
I am wondering if there is a good way of setting up my flow or powerapp to allow all users to access the app and have all email notifications sent from helpdesk. Previously I have set up a scheduled flow that checks for changes and sends update emails but this isn't ideal because you don't get an instant send.
Hi @michaelpaul ,
The fundamental issue here is that your users need an account in your tenant to be shared on the Power App to open it in the first place. You can set up external users, but that is fundamentally the same process, so you might as well do these in your organisation.
Once you have done that, you need to share the relevant mailbox - this article explains the process.
There is a From option in Office365Outlook.SendEmail
