Filter Look up field.

Hi all,

 

I have two entities: Entity A and Entity B. Using Power Apps  portal, I have an entity form which is in A Entity and everything works fine.

 

Note: There is a many to one relationship between B Entity to A Entity

 

Now, I have B Entity which contains like Id, Name etc. On Power Apps portal, in an entity form I have added a look up field which only contains Id.

 

What I want is, On an entity form when a current user of portal sign in and want to select his id from look up field, it only show his/her id not every id (like  now i can see all users id from Entity B) .

 

Next, when a user select id, all data from Entity B fills in the form.

 

Is this possible to filter a look up field according to the current user portal? 

 

I have filter entity form and list for the current portal user. 

 

Can anyone please guide me on this?

    For filtering lookup take a look at this blog post by @OOlashyn https://www.dancingwithcrm.com/custom-lookup-filtering-powerapps-portal/

     

    But in my opinion I am not sure you need that, if you want it always to be associated with the current user, you should set an Entity Form Metadata, and define the Prepopulate field (or Save Value on Save) as the current logged in user:
