Hi,
I have a number of PAD flows that have corresponding PAC flows that are scheduled to run unattended. These flows have been running as expected for the last 6+months without any problems. About a week ago they all stopped working with the following error:
Problem while executing action 'AttachToEdgeByUrl'. Failed to assume control of Microsoft Edge (communication with Power Automate web extension failed).
However if I try and run the flows from PAD directly on the target machine they all work fine, the problem only happens when the flows are run unattended.
I have tried the following steps to try and resolve the issue:
1. Updated PAD (Version: 2.40.00207.24023 and Store version: 11.2401.31.0) and the Power Automate Machine Runtime (Version: 2.41.170.24032) on the target machine.
2. Updating Microsoft Edge (Version 121.0.2277.110)
2. Uninstalling and re-installing the Power Automate Edge plugin (multiple times).
3. Setting the "ScreenDefaultResolutionEnabled" to true in the UIFlowService.exe.config file.
3. Adding an additional "Launch new Microsoft Edge" component and changing the existing one to "Attached to running instance" with retries.
4. Adding a delay at the start of the flow.
5. Disabling the "Wait for page to load" toggle and adding a "Wait for page content" component.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
