Dropdown Display based on first dropdown selected

Good morning,

I am working on a canvas app to collect limited information to populate unique standardized memorandums.  drpRequestType selects what memo I want to generate.  drpSystem selects what computer the memo is for.  cmbPersonnel allows for selection of what person the memo is for.  drpSystem is linked to a SPO list.  drpRequestType is linked to a SPO list.  cmbPersonnel is connected to Office365Users and allows to search personnel to eliminate the manual entry of data.  Based on the three dropdowns, data in the SPO lists will generate other data to dynamically generate memos.  I will  be connected to Power Automate to do the memo generation.

I have successfully displayed multiple forms based on the drpRequestType selection.  When i added the drpSystem things got wonky.  I need to only display drpSystem based on 2 of the 4 selections in drpRequestType.
What is the right formula to display drpSystem on drpRequestType 'Selection1' or 'Selection2'?

    hi @teamplez ,

    do you have a navigate function if yes than try this formula of your onChange property:

    If(
     Dropdown.Selected.Value = "Selection1" || Dropdown.Selected.Value = "Selection2",
     Navigate(
     ScreenName,
     "",
     {formData: FormName.LastSubmit}
     )
    )

    and on items property of form :

    formData

    Anandm08,
    All Dropdowns and forms are all located on the same page.  I do not have a navigate function (yet).  I am just working to get the dropdowns working right now.  Currently in the drpSystem I have in the 'Visible' Property "

    drpRequests.SelectedText.Value = "Designation1" or "Designation2""  I don't think that is working regardless of your input to do the onChange.  What should i put in drpSystem Visible property along with your formula for the onChange?
    Sorry for the delay.  Had some issues to deal with and could not get to this.  Shadow IT is tough with a full-time job to do too.

    In your case, you want to display drpSystem only when drpRequestType is either 'Selection1' or 'Selection2'. You can achieve this with an If statement checking the value of drpRequestType.

    Here is the formula you can use for the Visible property of drpSystem:

    If(
     drpRequestType.Selected.Value = "Selection1" || drpRequestType.Selected.Value = "Selection2",
     true,
     false
    )

    Good Morning -

    My version of Power Apps did not like the If function for some reason.  I did some searching and found I could replace the If with Or.  My formula ended up being:

    Or(drpRequests.SelectedText.Value = "Designation1" || drpRequests.SelectedText.Value = "Designation2")

    I appreciate your time and experience in helping me work through this!
