I have a free version of the Power Platform License which allowed me to create a the Power app and all the Power Automate for that app. If I switch the Environment from Sandbox to Production. Would I lose the ability to use the app, or modify it? Will I need to switch to a paid license?

Will that also include anyone else trying to run the app will need to move to the paid license?

Hello, thanks for reaching out.
First I would reach out to MSFT support regarding specifics for licensing. In my experience when switching to production nothing will change as far as access. However, that is because you may be in a grace period and the limitation that requires a paid license for accessing apps in production is not applied yet to you. This will eventually happen and you will need to switch to a paid license. But the mere switch of the environment from sandbox to production will not cut you off immediately. In my experience. Now Microsoft is always increasing their enforcement of licensing and I don't know the specifics of your free license.

Is your free license a trial license or a developer license?
If you are converting a sandbox environment to a production environment, licensing requirements will not change.
You will also keep your current role, and you can continue editing the app in the production environment. However, it might make sense to develop the app in a sandbox environment and then import it into a production environment to prevent errors in your production apps.

We have the free license (PowerApps and Logic Flows) that comes with the E3. I believe it comes with the Tenant as there's 9999 available.

Will that affect the ability to make changes if I convert it to Production? Will user that also have the free license can still run it? Everything works fine on Sandbox, and as the app ready, we'd like to move it to production environment but not sure if we have to then upgrade everyone running it to a pay per plan license.

Hello @Tetralink, no, converting the environment to a production environment will not impact the licensing requirements.
In your case, though, I would consider creating an additional environment. If I understood you correctly, you are currently developing your application in the sandbox environment. The best practice would be to export this application as part of a managed solution and import it into a separate production environment.
That way you can continue to make changes in the sandbox environment without affecting your production app. Whenever you're ready, you can move your updated and tested app to the production environment.
This will not have an impact on licensing.
