Hello everyone, I am trying to provide option of image attachement in power apps for further sending in email.

Using:

Insert->Media->Add picture (name of object is "AddMediaWithImage")

and

Insert->Button

Office365Outlook.SendEmail(
"mymail@mail.com",
"Email Subject",
"Email Body",
{Attachments: {ContentBytes: AddMediaWithImage, '@odata.type': ""}}
)

And get an error "incompletable type. The 'AttachmentsContentBytes' column in the data source you're updating expects a 'Blob' type and you're using a "control' type

I tried different variations and always error..

thank you in advance

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Add an Image Control (you can hide it) with the image file as the Image then

    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
     "mymail@mail.com",
     "Email Subject",
     "Email Body",
     {
     Attachments:
     {
     ContentBytes: YourImageControlName.Image,
     Name: "YourFileName.jpog",
     '@odata.type': ""
     }
     }
    )

    @Anonymous ,

    Looking at it again (I misread it first and thought it was actual uploaded Media), you already have the image control there inside the control group

    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
     "mymail@mail.com",
     "Email Subject",
     "Email Body",
     {
     Attachments:
     {
     ContentBytes: UploadedImage1.Image,
     Name: "YourFileName.jpg",
     '@odata.type': ""
     }
     }
    )

    @Anonymous ,

    I was only giving an example of the name image field in your AddMediaWithImage group - just use whatever yours is called.
