Label Height

I have a Dropdown and a Label.

The some of the content is more than the width of the Dropdown will allow, and the
preference is to not make the Dropdown any longer.

I added the Label as a cover to the Dropdown, set the 'Auto height' to true, and placed
Property_Dropdown_Ext_Lbl.Height in the Dropdown Height property.

Everything is working except the default height of the Label. Because it is set to 'Auto
Height' true, the default height of the Label is 10.

Is there any way to set the default height of the Label to 30 while it is also set to 'Auto Height'
true?

I don't believe that you can set auto height plus set a default height but you can change the height and auto height dynamically if you can identify the conditions when these will change.

For default font size, AutoHeight for label will always default to 10 pixels if there is no text provided.

There are 3 possible solutions for this case:
Option1: in label text field ensure that you have at lease end of line character that will make text field render 2 field rows at once -
    Label.Text: Coalesce(Dropdown.SelectedText.Value, Char(10))

Option 2/3: apply styling to a container (or to a dropdown - it may solve your issue as well) and do a scaling on a container height property - Container.Height: Max(Label.Height, 32)

    Thanks for the replies.

    The got me to pondering.

    I believe I've found workaround.

Property Dropdown Ext Lbl Label -
Height: 32 (set by Auto height)
    Auto height: On

    The Dropdown Control -
    Height: If(IsBlank(Self.Selected.HOA),32,Property_Dropdown_Ext_Lbl.Height)
