Creating an All day event in SharePoint from Outlook calendar

Hello,

I'm new to Flow but hope someone here can help me.

I have created a Flow which creates an item in a SharePoint calendar if an event it my Outlook calendar is given a specific category.

The issue I'm having is that if I set the event in Outlook as an All day event, Flow creates it in SharePoint as an event lasting 24 hours!

For Example, the Outlook event is:

Start time Mon 27/03/2017 00:00           All day event (checked)

End time Mon 27/03/2017 00:00

But the SharePoint item is:

Start time Mon 27/03/2017 01:00           All day event (not checked)

End time Tue 28/03/2017 01:00

Any advice would be muh appriciated.

Thanks

    Hi @Burnsy

I haven't a real solution, I remember that I have a "problem" with calendar bound to SharePoint: infact, while if you set all day on Outlook calendar it start and finish with 00:00, in SharePoint I have a different behaviour, so it start with 00:00 and finish with 23:59, that for me is the correct form; 00:00 is a new day in my opinion, so I understand why you have the day following in the end day; for th 01:00, maybe it is a problem with the "locale" and daylight saving?

    Hi Burnsy,

Flow returns dates in UTC, unless you apply a transformation. Currently, the only transformations allowed are the ones by formatDateTime as documented at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/logic/definition-language.

We are considering conversions to specified time zones in the future, as a function or as an extra action. Please stay tuned!

    Regards,

    Mona
