notification if email from manager

Hi,

 

I wanted to test flow and one of templates was to get push notification if there is mail from manager. However when adding this template it didnt work and it gave error:

 

Reason
  • Code
    InvalidTemplate
  • Message
    Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Send_a_push_notificationScope' at line '1' and column '2051': 'The template language expression 'equals(triggerBody()['From'], body('Get_manager')['Mail'])' cannot be evaluated because property 'Mail' doesn't exist, available properties are 'status, message, source'. Please see https://aka.ms/logicexpressions for usage details.'.

 

Maybe there should be definition of who is manager or which mail is manager's? Should this be done somewhere in office 365 admin? Does maybe anyone know?

    Hi Andrejker,

     

    I guess that you are using this template:
    https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/135019e1cdc6457b8bc6f6051607e778/get-a-push-notification-when-you-receive-an-email-from-your-boss/

     

    I create a flow using this template, but I am not able to make it worked. It failed with the error “Invalid Template”. Though I have set the manager on Office 365 admin.

     

    I have a workaround, please try to use a condition looks like below. You could enter your Manager name in the Value field. Please try if this works for you.
