Power app connecting to two different tenants

Hello,

IS it possible to create an app that connects to a sharepoint site in the same app tenant and to a second sharepoint site in a different tenant? Users will be guests with member permissions in this second sharepoint site

Hi @Nico73 ,

Do you want to connect to an external SharePoint Site and in that tenant you have been invited as guest?

If you do, I'm afraid it's not supported to connect with external sharepoint list with internal account in powerapps. That should be sharepoint connector's limit.

You could only create connections with sharepoint with the internal account of the sharepoint site.

In short, you need to create connection by using CompanyB's account to connect with CompanyB's sharepoint list, then create this connection in CompanyA's PowerApps.

The suggestion is:

1)create an account in CompanyB

2)create connection with sharepoint by using CompanyB's account in CompanyA's powerapps

You could create external connections in connection management page:

Hello Jeffer, thanks for your reply
We could create the external connections in connection management page but then we can't see that connection in the power app
It just shows connections to CompanyA' Sharepoint
What can we do to see the connection?

Hi @Nico73 ，

Did you create the external connector with an account in CompanyB's Azure AD and not as a guest user?
Because when I was creating the connector, I was asked to login with a CompanyB's account. And once connector was created, I reopened to edit the app, I could see and select it on the connector selecting pane:

So could you please make sure that when creating the connector, you was using the account to log on to CompanyB's SharePoint?
If you still could not see the created connector after creating it, please share more details about the account such as permission. If you have any other further information, please feel free to let me know.

Hi, your solution works but just for me, the person that create the connection. When other users play the app the data from the other tenant just don't load. I went to connections and try to share it with other users but they don't appear in the list, just services. Any idea how to make this connection available to other users?
