This is my first 'post for help'.
I've used this forum many times already to help me solve other problems, so am keeping my fingers crossed you'll come up trumps one more time!!
I have a Canvas App that is based on a SP list.
It contains multiple Person columns.
I am experiencing an inconsistent behaviour on the mobile version (That my user base is experiencing, and I can replicate when testing on an iPhone7 Plus).
When you select a Person field it produces a Pop-up so you can search for that person within the O365 directory, but sometimes after selection the App stays zoomed in.
But the behaviour is very inconsistent:
- Sometimes this doesn't happen at all and the form continues as normal in its original size
- Sometimes you can pinch out to rectify the screen (A bit annoying but at least it returns)
- Sometimes you can't unzoom, so the user experience is an extreme close-up, that renders the experience inoperable and other drop down lists unusable
The inconsistency is confusing me the most, there isn't a difference from one person field to the other.
The fact that it works sometimes is the most frustrating part that I would love to work out why!?
I have read a few similar'ish posts and have tried a few ideas without success, e.g.
- Changing the font size (It was originally 21 up to 30)
- Reducing the Card width
- Using the Width Fit property
Any help or suggestions would be most welcome.
