Hello,

I have one seemingly simple requirement that currently doesn't seem to be possible unless I am missing something. I have created a PowerApp that works great and there is one complex Excel spreadsheet that we need to hyperlink to because it is too complex to be used as a data source in the PowerApp itself.

We have two company iPads with the PowerApp installed and we would like to just have a link/button/image/something that can just open this Excel spreadsheet in the Excel iOS app in a single click. Right now, the only thing I can do is include a link to the Excel file (which is in SharePoint) which opens it in Read Only mode in Safari. Then they have to click "Edit" which then asks them to open it in Excel (twice). They then have to click Edit AGAIN since it opens in the Excel app in Read Only. (4 total clicks and redirects)

All we want to do is just open the Excel sheet directly in the Excel iOS app from a hyperlink in our PowerApp and avoid all of the extra clicks. This works in a desktop web browser using Launch("ms-excel:ofe|u|https://etc") but doesn't do anything in the iOS PowerApp.

Trying to use a hyperlink instead of "Launch" results in the URL being stripped out by PowerApps. Is there any way that this can work so that we can skip all of these extra clicks?
