Bring back the last information added to the data

Hi everyone,

I trust that this question finds you well.

Does anyone know how can I bring the last register to any kind of box as a default? That, asociated a couple of settings...

This is the situation,

I have to check products in five diferent production areas working at the same time.

So, I want to add some main information that is the same probably all day long to each production area, and I want that when I choose the area, the main information that I use the last time come back once and again to each product.

I'll appreciate your time in this,

Best regards to everyone,

Joaquín.

You can set a variable for the last record in the list and use it as the default property  for each control

Set(var, First(Sort(yourlist, ID, Descending))).  To provide the information for the default of a control, it would be something like var.LastName, var.Address, etc.  It would also need to be in the OnSuccess property of the form.

However, this would not reflect the last record edited in list.  For that, you can use Set(var, Self.LastSubmit) in the OnSuccess property of the form.  This latter formula would be blank when the app is first opened and only appear after a new record is saved or a previous record is edited during the same session.

    Dear Drrickryp,

First of all, thank you for your answer, I trust that this will help me in this situation. I will let you know if I can get the solution.

On the other hand, just in a try to explain the problem in a better way, Im triying to make "child evaluations" inside of a "master evaluation". I don't know if that concept helps to understand what I'm trying to do.

Best regards, and thank you again.
