I recently customized a SharePoint list form using Power Apps and it had been working fine. But yesterday the user notified me that when she and her colleague open the form to add new item, the form prompts them for permission to use camera.
Through a screen share session I can confirm this is indeed happening consistently on her computer, but when I opened the form myself, I was not prompted for this permission grant.
To the best of my knowledge I don't believe I've added anything in the customization that requires the use of the camera. Both the user and her colleague already have Full Control permission to the list through Site Owner's group so there shouldn't be a need for SharePoint to authenticate them via face recognition (and I'm not sure if that's even possible at all).
I've never seen SharePoint behave this way so I'm reaching out for help. If anyone can suggest where I should be investigating, or know what might have caused this problem, I'd really appreciate you share the information with me.
