Search function for filtered Sharepoint library/Delegation Issue (important)

Hi everyone,

i have build a PowerApp Document Gallery based on a Sharepoint document library by following a youtube tutorial. I wanted to show only folders and using folderpath created a delegation issue. To solve the delegation Warning i created a new column called "Pfad" in Sharepoint and have build a flow, which fills the column for every folder with "Shared Documents/". Also the Gallery is filtred by the function "Filter(Dokumente; Pfad=varcurrentpfad") so only folders are shown. Varcurrentpfad is a variable set in Apps (Set(varccurentpfad;"Shared Documents/")).

Now i want to build a searchbox to filter the already filtered Gallery, to show the folder i am looking for.

I tried the function below

Filter(Dokumente;Pfad=varcurrentpfad;StartsWith(varcurrentpfad;Artikelnummersuche.Text))

(Artkelnummersuche is the searchboxs name)

logically i can only search for "shared Documents/" but not the name of the folder.

I almost tried everything but nothing worked 😞 Either there is a delegation Warning or the folder isnt found and if the Folder is found its empty and the files in the folder wont show up.

I am trying to solve this problem for a week now and i have no hope left.

Thanks to everybody in advance

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Try something like below. Modify the below code as per your requirements.

    	Search(Filter(Dokumente;Pfad=varcurrentpfad);Artikelnummersuche.Text;"varcurrentpfad")

    Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    Hi @Anonymous

    With({_Item: Dokumente});
    Filter(_Item;Pfad=varcurrentpfad && StartsWith(ColumnName;Artikelnummersuche.Text))
    )

    Note: Update the ColumnName that you want to Search like Startswith(Columnname

    Hi @StalinPonnusamy,

    thank you for your reply. Do you mean a function like below?

    With({_item:Dokumente});;Filter(_item;Pfad=varcurrentpfad && StartsWith(Name;Artikelnummersuche.Text))

    I tried this one, nothing but errors are shown. I Also tried to update the ColumnName, but it only displays

    other functions and not the columnnames from sharepoint. ..

    Thank you very much, now i can filter the gallery but when i click on the folder it is empty..

    I am using

    If(ThisItem.IstOrdner; Collect(varprefolders;{Pfad:varcurrentpfad});; Set(varcurrentpfad; Concatenate(varcurrentpfad;ThisItem.Name;"/")); Launch(ThisItem.'Link zu Element';"";LaunchTarget.New))

    to get the files of the folder. Do i have to change something?

    Hi @Anonymous

    To launch or open the document library

    Launch(ThisItem.'Link to item';{};LaunchTarget.New)

    I just tested and works fine

    Hi @Anonymous

    To troubleshoot, Insert a label on the gallery and set the Text property to

    ThisItem.'Link to item'
