Greetings, community. I am trying to use Power Automate child flows to create/update/delete Dataverse records, but I have learned that child flows can't be set up to use the user identity from the parent flow (see this forum post). This is a problem as the Dataverse logs then show activities performed by the developer user account instead of the account of the user who triggered the action. Plus, it makes doing these actions in Power Automate WAY more tedious due to duplication of code.
I've seen people suggest having a separate Automatic flow that runs on record updates similar to a SQL trigger, but that is an absolute pain to build out for numerous tables and applications. Does anyone know of an out-of-the-box way to have Power Automate do these actions on behalf of a user or update the created/modified fields?
