File copy with timeout

Is there any way to set a timeout when doing a file copy to an IP based network share? Sometimes the receiving device is not available. There is something inconsistent about the "Cant copy file" errors. Sometimes it generates an error but sometimes it sits there forever waiting for something. It might be something to do with the first or subsequent uses of an IP based file share?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, it is quite bad, there is no option in PAD where you can specify timed out while copying files. I do believe this is a great idea for an improvement. I think you should submit it as an idea to Power Automate Idea.

Thanks and hope it can help you.

    Mike

That's a shame as it seems such an obvious requirement in the real world where network devices are not always available.
