Hi all,

This is my very first post in the forums and I am new to Powerapps as well. I hope that I can get some help here as I have tried looking around the internet for solutions but to no avail. I am having difficuties showing images based on filtered selection. I will try to be as detailed as possible in my description of the outcome I am trying to achieve. Please feedback if it is not clear. I know i am giving a general example but I hope I can get some direction.

Example:

1. In Document library, there are 3 folders for Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

2. In each folder there 5 different images of the dishes.

3. User will select the desired Cusine from a dropdown list.

4. Base on the selected cuisine, there is a image gallery to show only the first image.

5. Then upon clicking "Next" button, the gallery will show the next image in the folder.

6. When it has shown all the images, it will inform that there is no more images.

I have created the documents and uploaded the images. I tried different ways but i am no where close to getting the image Gallery to perform the above function. Please let me know if you need more details.

Hi, definitely possible assuming its a document library in SharePoint, if you create a gallery and set its items to your database name, this will show all items in the gallery. then add an image to the gallery and set it image property to ThisItem.'Link to item' as shown below

Where you want to change what is displayed in the gallery, you would need to filter the gallery items to retrieve the records you want to show. the below shown Japanese items that are within the Documents library.

Filter(Documents,"Japanese" in 'Folder path')

Rather than using folders, i would add a column in the data source that is a choice column and use this to filter on rather than the folder name as you may run into delegation issues.
